Dating Aria: Double D Games

A Tale of Cougar Queens and Teenage Fashionistas going out on an unlikely hit double date. Things take a turn for the better once the teenagers stop acting their age and show up to the game, leading to the best outcome ever.
It's recommended to be familiar with the previous chapters of this story but hopefully not necessary to enjoy it on its own. This one is on the longer side and if that's something you readers enjoy, vs the fast ones, let me know. and as always, story is all fiction and everyone over 18.

After my wild and totally unexpected night hanging out with the up and coming rockstar Luna Starling, I woke up feeling like I'd been hit by a train carrying her entire future concert setup. My head throbbed like a bass drum, and my body felt like it had been moshing in the front row all night. All I wanted to do was crawl back under the covers and sleep it off.
It all started innocently enough with a shared love for the '80s, and then things escalated quickly. Let's just say, my boobs were the VIP section for Luna's lipstick kisses. Lucky for me, I caught on quick to the game she was playing. She was trying to one up my girlfriend Aria, in an attempt to prove who the superior ace was after all these years. But little did she know, my Aria is not just any ordinary ace, she's the queen of aces.
As if Luna's post-concert shenanigans weren't enough to keep me up all night, I also had a juicy mission to accomplish for my girlfriend. You see, I had inadvertently introduced Aria to her latest bestie, Mariana, the daughter of my friend Cindy, and she asked me to play matchmaker.
I knew just the person to introduce her to - my sassy friend Giselle, who was wrapping up a divorce and ready to dive back into the dating scene. Sure it was a tricky and unconventional situation but with some expert-level matchmaking skills that would make Cupid blush, I managed to get the ball rolling and the two of them connected via a group chat.
It was truly a miracle I was able to crash what with these night owls keeping my phone buzzing with messages pouring in. We were all ready to take our love lives to the next level. A plan was brewed: a double date night that would make even the most boring couple feel like they were on an episode of The Bachelor.
Our group was certainly a mismatched bunch: Aria, bratty yet headstrong, Mariana, rocking a punky "too cool for school" vibe straight out of the Billie Eilish playbook, and Giselle, oozing foxy MILF energy and ready to party like it was 1999. But we had a simple mission: to have a night filled with laughter, good food, and even better company.
Originally, Aria and I had RSVP'd to watch my Pilates instructor, Sara, perform stand-up comedy, but let's face it, that wouldn't have been the safest spot for two age gap lesbian couples. After a heated debate in the group DM, we settled on the reliable Benihana. Who can resist the allure of hibachi and a good onion volcano?
The group chat this morning was flooded with a million pics of Mariana showing off her wild fashion choices, daring looks, and flawlessly chopped pixie cut. Giselle practically drooled over the teen's glam with her choice of emojis, while Aria was happy to have found a new fashionista to bond with. As for me, I couldn't help but wonder if Mariana's edgy exterior was just a front for immature behavior. But I held out hope that she would prove us wrong or at the very least make the night more interesting.
As I stepped into Giselle's apartment, I was hit with a wave of nostalgia. Memories of our unwavering support for each other flooded my mind, from the endless sleepless nights of new motherhood to the struggles of raising rebellious teenagers. We had been each other's confidante and shoulder to lean on for decades, and today was no different. When my own marriage had crumbled, Giselle was my rock, guiding me through the emotional minefield of divorce and even taking care of my daughter Lauren when I needed a break. And when her daughter got accepted into her dream college, we popped the Champagne, baby! Giselle had been there for me through it all, and now it was my turn to return the favor and lift her up during this trying time of her own marriage falling apart.
I couldn't help but marvel at how Giselle's new downtown apartment suited her. Despite the constant buzz of the city outside, it felt like a haven of calm amidst the chaos of her divorce.
I had come prepared to offer some words of encouragement for the upcoming double date, but as soon as I laid eyes on her, all of my concerns faded away. Giselle looked positively radiant! Her sun-kissed skin was framed by beachy waves, and her eyes sparkled with smoky shadow and a pop of juicy blush. And her lips - a commanding, matte red that begged to be kissed. It was like time stood still as I was once again struck by just how much of a knockout Giselle truly was.
Giselle snickered nervously and fiddled with her hair, giving off major first-date Cevizli Escort jitters. "Here's hoping I don't spill something on myself and ruin my chances," she said with a self-deprecating chuckle.
"Don't be ridiculous, girl. You're a stone-cold fox and a catch for any woman," I reassured her, giving her a once-over. "But if you do spill something, just blame it on the hibachi chef and his onion-chopping skills."
Giselle let out a snort of laughter. "Good point, Sophia. I'll just own it and make it part of my charm."
"That's the spirit!" I exclaimed, giving her a high-five. "Now, let's go show these youngsters what real style and class looks like. And if they can't handle it, well, that's their loss."
I twirled around to show off my outfit - a lustrous green button-up that hugged my curves in all the right places, flared jeans that elongated my legs, and funky pink kicks that added a pop of color. "Age is just a number, baby! We're gonna turn this double date into a triple threat and show them how it's done," I added with a wink at Giselle.
She grinned and shook her head. "You're a real piece of work, Sophia. But I wouldn't have it any other way."
Then it was Giselle's turn to twirl in front of the mirror, her fiery red dress shimmering in the light. "Now, do I look like a sexy siren or a fire truck in heels?" she asked, swaying back and forth in her cherry red stilettos.
"Girl, you look like you could start a forest fire in that dress," I joked as Giselle twirled in front of the mirror. "But in all seriousness, you look like a total babe. These youngins won't know what hit 'em."
"Probably our killer personalities, or our double D's" she quipped, rolling her eyes playfully.
Speaking of double D's...Giselle glanced once again at the photos of her double date and paused. "Hmm, there's something familiar about her," Giselle said, furrowing her brow. "I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe I've seen her on one of those 'Before and After' makeover shows."
I was Giselle's wing-woman for the night to make sure she didn't bail, which left Aria to ride with Mariana. Cindy's daughter had a reputation for wild driving, according to her momma, and the thought of Aria gripping the door handle while they careened around tight corners in a borrowed sports car had my heart racing. But I reassured Aria that everything would be alright, silently praying for their safe arrival. Nothing could stop us from enjoying some delicious hibachi at Benihana.
As we were about to head out, I suddenly remembered the explosive argument between Giselle and Mariana's mother, Cindy, a few years ago. Cindy was a bigwig on the board of directors, responsible for allocating funds to various community programs. Giselle had approached her for funds to set up an after-school program at the local community center, but Cindy had refused, citing budget constraints. It didn't help that Cindy's own daughter was enrolled in an expensive private after-school program that controversially received public funding. The argument had turned ugly, and the two hadn't spoken since.
Well, well, well, it sure looks like the universe has a twisted sense of humor. Here was Giselle going on a date with the very same girl who indirectly caused a major kerfuffle between those two. Talk about a cosmic prank! I wouldn't want to be in Mariana's shoes if Cindy catches wind of her sneaking away to meet up with our cougar queen Giselle. It'd be a total nightmare! The mere thought has me shaken.
I let out a nervous laugh, trying to mask my sudden concern. "Just some pre-date jitters, you know how it is," I said, giving Giselle a reassuring pat on the back. "But let's go. We can't keep the young bloods waiting. Time to teach them a thing or two about love and lust."
With renewed determination, we sashayed out into the night, our heads held high with confidence and anticipation. The world was our oyster - or at least the hibachi grill was.
We arrived at the restaurant well before the girls, and Giselle, being the savvy cougar that she is, immediately pulled out her "it's my birthday" card with the hostess. Miraculously, we were rewarded with a free slice of cake! The restaurant hummed with the sound of sizzling hibachi grills and laughter from other diners. The dim lighting cast an intimate glow over the room. With Giselle turning the big 5-0 in a month and Mariana recently turning 18, it wasn't entirely out of the question that we'd be toasting these birthday babes tonight.
As the hostess left, I leaned in and whispered to Giselle, "You're like a fine wine, babe - just getting better with age. And Mariana, she's like a shot of tequila - sure to knock your socks off!" We both laughed, knowing that tonight was bound to be full of surprises.
With our mojitos in hand, we sat at the bar, feeling like royalty waiting for our loyal subjects to arrive. And then, just like that, the teenage fashionistas sashayed in with an air of confidence that only youth can bring, dressed in Escort Cevizli the latest oversized hoodies and frayed denim shorts like they had just stepped off the set of a millennial fashion show.
Giselle and I exchanged mischievous grins, before she purred, "Is that them?!" I simply nodded and drawled, "Yup, looks like they're here to witness how the grown-ups do it." As they strutted over to us at the bar, we couldn't help but feel excited for the night ahead. After all, who said age was a limit to having a little bit of fun and mischief?
I couldn't help but notice Mariana and Aria's matching outfits and raised an eyebrow. "Twinning, are we?" I teased with a smirk. "Or are you guys trying to start a new fashion trend or something?"
Aria, always quick with a snappy comeback, quipped, "Well, are you two trying to be our Christmas presents?" referring to our red and green ensembles, respectively. I chuckled and playfully rolled my eyes. "I think we're way more than a couple of presents. Besides, we're not exactly the right size for wrapping paper," I playfully tugged at my dress, emphasizing my point.
Giselle chuckled and added, "Maybe they're secretly auditioning for a remake of The Parent Trap."
I playfully rolled my eyes. "I'm pretty sure Lindsay Lohan has that remake covered, Giselle."
As we raised our glasses, the clink of ice cubes echoed through the air, signaling the start of an epic night. Our youthful companions may not have understood our references, but they were about to learn a thing or two about how to party like grown-ups.
I leaned in, an eager grin on my face. "So spill the tea, Aria. Did Mariana make you feel like you were in a 'Fast and Furious' movie the whole way?"
Aria rolled her eyes. "Ugh, don't even get me started, Soph. Mariana thinks she's the next Vin Diesel, swerving in and out of lanes like a maniac."
Mariana pouted. "Hey, I was just trying to have a little fun! You're the one who was gripping the seat like your life depended on it."
I snickered. "Well, I'm just glad you guys made it in one piece. I was starting to think I'd have to eat all this food tonight by myself."
Giselle chimed in, "Let's be real, Soph, we both know you can barely handle a hint of wasabi."
As the hostess led us to our seats at the long dining table, the girls suddenly fell silent, their faces glued to their phones. Giselle and I exchanged a knowing look - the dreaded social media scroll. We tried to start a conversation, but the girls barely looked up from their screens, muttering one-word responses before returning to their online worlds.
Giselle nudged me. "Looks like we're in for a night of virtual company," she joked.
I chuckled, but inside I was feeling disappointed. Had we made a mistake sitting them together? Was this what a double date meant to a couple of teenagers? I couldn't help but wonder if there was anything we could do to snap them out of their digital trance.
Just then, Mariana shouted, "OMG, y'all peeped Luna Starling's posts?"
The sudden noise made me jump while Aria bounced her head up and down, saying "Oh my God, the pics are totally wild! I'm like, one-hundred percent sure I saw someone's nip in one of them!"
My cheeks were flaming as I recalled those ridiculous pics Luna and I took last night which were apparently now being posted.
Mariana rolled her eyes. "Ugh, she is TOTALLY living her best life. Guess she's got some hottie sharing in it too!"
I gasped loudly and Aria turned to me, noticing my discomfort. "Whoa there, Soph. You good?"
I cleared my throat. "Well, I must have missed the memo on the Luna Starling fan club meeting. Who is she, again?"
Mariana and Aria looked at me incredulously. "Are you serious, Soph? She's the singer we saw last night at the cafe," Aria said, shaking her head.
I shrugged. "Oh, right. It's just...I'm sure Luna Starling would be thrilled to know she's the center of our entire conversation. As if we don't have more interesting things to talk about than someone's social media posts, especially when you're on a double date." I tried to change the subject. "How about that new art exhibit downtown? I heard it's supposed to be amazing."
But that only triggered Mariana and Aria to get more excited. "OMG, Luna is TOTALLY gonna be at that venue this weekend," Mariana squealed.
"We're not going," I stated firmly, hoping to put an end to the conversation.
"Come on, Soph, Luna is like the queen of the music scene. She's blowing up faster than a TikTok challenge that goes viral," Mariana said, giving me an exaggerated eye roll.
I smirked. "Well, I guess I'm just not 'Starling-struck' like you guys are," I replied, earning a chuckle from Giselle.
Aria groaned. "Oh, don't be such a 'grill-kill', Soph. We're just having a little fun," she said, using a pun to describe both my lack of enthusiasm and our imminent meal.
I raised my hands in surrender. "Alright, alright. You win. Let's talk about Cevizli Escort Bayan Luna and her nip slip, if that's what gets you going," I said, exaggerating my eye roll for effect.
Just as I couldn't take any more Luna talk, the welcome sizzling sounds and clanging of the hibachi grill filled the air, signaling the thankful arrival of our meal. My stomach grumbled in anticipation, and I eagerly awaited the culinary delights that were about to be served up. The chef, dressed to the nines in his pristine chef's coat and towering hat, picked up on our fading enthusiasm and tried to inject some humor into the room.
"Well, well, well, I'm guessing your daughters dragged you here, but don't worry, I'll make sure to feed you all properly and maybe even teach you a thing or two about living in the moment instead of staring at your screens all day. Trust me, no filter can make this food look any better than it already does."
Suddenly, the teens' focus shifted from their phones and social media accounts to us, and they looked a bit embarrassed. They scooted their chairs closer to ours with eager looks on their faces, as if trying to make up for their earlier rudeness. It was as if the chef's words had snapped them out of a trance, and they were finally ready to engage with us.
Giselle and I exchanged a glance of relief, finally happy that we had broken through the barrier. "So, spill the beans girls. What's the wildest thing you've ever done?" I asked, hoping to spice up the conversation.
"Agreeing to this double date," Mariana quipped, and we all laughed.
As we continued talking, the subject of music came up. Mariana gushed, "Have you guys heard of Billie Eilish? She's seriously the best thing ever."
"Billie who?" I replied, with a confused expression.
Giselle chimed in, "I've heard her on the radio, but I don't really know her music."
Aria rolled her eyes. "Are you guys living under a rock? Billie Eilish is, like, the biggest thing right now!"
"Well, excuse us for not being teenagers anymore," I retorted. "Back in my day, we had Nirvana and Pearl Jam."
Mariana looked at us incredulously. "Who?"
"Oh, you kids today don't know what you're missing," Giselle said with a chuckle.
"Exactly!" I agreed.
Mariana let out a big sigh and muttered, "Seriously, boomers..." Aria followed up with a sarcastic remark, "Oh, right, because nothing screams 'cool' like reminiscing about music from before we were even born."
Aria's over the top quip had broken the ice, and we all laughed and relaxed a little. However, the music debate that followed only highlighted our generational differences. We soon changed the subject to fashion, but even then, we found ourselves on different sides of the argument. At least the conversation became more lively as we debated whether high-waisted jeans were still trendy or already passé.
Mariana snickered, "High-waisted jeans are sooooooo last season, right Aria?!"
Aria gave us a lazy look. "I mean... I guess I still rock mine, you know?"
"Well, I think they're timeless," Giselle chimed in, catching the girls' attention. "It all depends on how you style them. And speaking of styling, have you guys ever tried layering a cropped sweater over a flowy skirt? It's one of my favorite looks for transitioning from winter to spring."
"Oh, I love that idea!" Aria exclaimed. "But what about statement accessories? Do you think they can elevate an outfit, or are they too much?"
"I definitely think statement accessories have their place," Giselle remarked, her voice ringing with pride. "I mean, just look at these babies," she added, admiring her own pieces. "They can take a simple outfit from blah to boom in a heartbeat. And it's not just about adding color, it's about expressing your personality and making a statement. But, of course, it's all about balance. You don't want to overload your look with too many competing elements."
Aria gave Giselle a skeptical look. "Wait, you're telling me I can't wear my giant feather earrings, my beaded necklace, AND my rhinestone sunglasses all at once?"
Giselle chuckled. "Well, you could...but you might need a neck brace to support all that bling."
Mariana laughed. "I don't know, I think Aria could pull it off. She's got that Gen Z swag."
"Well, if we're talking about style, I must say I'm loving your punk glam look, Mariana. It's so daring and untamed," Giselle noted. The teenager's ego grew visibly at the compliment.
"I must confess, I used to be a punk too, but I was never as cool as you!" Giselle added.
Mariana's eyes widened with surprise and delight. "No way! That's so cool. Let's see some pics, like, right now!" she exclaimed, eager to revel on how Giselle looked like at her age.
As Giselle scrolled through the archives of her past on the glowing screen, Aria, who had been reserved for most of the night, subtly shifted closer to me. Her hand slid under the dark table and brushed against my thigh, sending shivers down my spine. I couldn't help but let out a gasp of pleasure.
Suddenly, a waiter interjected with a witty remark. "Ladies, I hate to interrupt your fashion show, but have you seen the dessert menu? It's absolutely divine." We couldn't help but laugh at his timing.
